Leaving Their Legacy

It takes intrinsic motivation to always do what’s right, which is why it is another one of .decimal’s core values. To dedicate your time to your community and put others first is not commonly found, but something special. We’d like to showcase Henry and Ricky for being committed to excellence and impacting not only .decimal but also the surrounding community. Congratulations to the both of you for graduating from Leadership Seminole!

Leadership Seminole has a special place in .decimal’s heart. Even after our CEO Richard and co-owner Karen graduated from the program, they continue to sponsor .decimal employee participation in the program each year. Karen loved it so much, she became an Executive Board Committee member.

Leadership Seminole is a nine-month program which brings together fifty community leaders to address the needs of within Seminole County. Each year, the class has a legacy project which targets a specific non-profit or area of the community and strives to improve and elevate it.

Henry and Ricky were a part of Class 28, and their legacy project was focused on helping Crossroads Corral, a non-profit charitable organization that provides Equine Assisted Therapy for those who suffer post-traumatic stress disorder. Their goal is to promote growth and healing through the connection that horses bring. Crossroads Corral faced issues in the summer months, as storm season and brutal temperatures drove sessions to be canceled, halting treatment. Class 28 raised over $60,000 to build a pavilion for these horses, allowing those sessions to continue through the season.

The nine-month program came to a close with Henry and Ricky graduating with their heads held high. We honor both of you and your drive to always do what’s right! Congratulations!!
