.decimal’s Future Focus Group

The Future Focus Group is a new committee of college students representing the youngest minds of .decimal.

Shelby, a new member of the contract manufacturing team, felt that by combining the minds and ideas of .decimal’s college students, there could be a great benefit to the company and the students alike. This group is not only helping the youngest .decimal generation learn and grow into future leaders, but also contributing to solving issues here at .decimal. The Future Focus Group’s goal is to bring a fresh perspective to tackling some of our toughest challenges. The Future Focus Group meets twice monthly to discuss the challenges we face.

Shelby is a student at Seminole State College of Florida. Switching from an art major, Shelby found love of business from working at .decimal and is going into the Business and Information Management program in the fall. She is set to graduate in 2021. At .decimal she works on the contract manufacturing side of of the business providing support for the team in managing the flow of work through the system. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and linguistics.

Ryan started working at .decimal back in 2017. Ryan found he had a knack for engineering in high school, where he took courses in the subject and is now at the University of Central Florida studying for a mechanical engineering degree. Ryan started at  .decimal he has done a range of jobs, such as engineering custom bolus, updating drawings, setting up machines, configuring updates, and other technical support to the engineering team. He is set to graduate from UCF in 2 years time.

After graduating from Seminole State College of Florida with an Associate of Arts Degree this spring, Savannah is UCF bound, seeking a degree in psychology. She has a love for giving back through her own personal experiences with the end-goal of getting a doctorate in psychology and opening her own counseling practice. She works in customer service and helps with human resources as she attends school.

Born in Ireland, Luke now calls Lake Mary home.  He is a student at the University of Central Florida and set to graduate in May 2020. Meeting people in the business world brought him to his passion for business and to .decimal. Luke is the newest member of the sales and customer service team and helps with account management and sales. Outside of work, Luke loves to golf and sports in general.

Dani is currently halfway through the Business and Information Management program at Seminole State College of Florida. She started at .decimal in May 2016, following her high school graduation and transitioned from making video marketing material to office administration and customer service. She also is heavily involved in the .decimal United program and manages .decimal’s social media. Dani aims to obtain a Masters of Business Administration following her graduation in May 2020.

We’re all excited to see the Future Focus Group grow both personally and professionally, and can’t wait to see how their input contributes to .decimal success in the future!!
