Shine A Light: The History, Mystery, and Opportunity of GRID Therapy
If you work in radiation oncology, the story of spatially-fractionated GRID therapy is perhaps the best story you’ve never heard.
It is a story of history and science, of mystery and opportunity. But perhaps most of all, it is a story of family. A son and his father, yes, but also of a larger family: the family of the people we work with, and learn from, and sometimes, teach. And a family larger still, the family of people we ultimately work for: those in need of help, those in need of hope, those who in times of darkness just need someone to shine a light.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022: Remembering Why We Do What We Do, And For Whom
As we usher in October, 2022, we reflect on the many patient-specific cancer treatment devices we make, including the thousands we make per year for breast cancer patients.
This Breast Cancer Awareness month, join us in remembering why we do what we do, and more importantly, for whom.
As Committed to Excellence is one of our core values, some of the .decimal team, along with the owners of the company, went to Leadership Seminole’s 2020 Leadership Summit.
To the Rescue
.decimal is located in Florida, which means that we are no stranger to hurricanes. Despite knowing how to prepare and making all the necessary precautions beforehand, there’s no telling what a storm will do to a community. That’s why we sprung into action when we heard about the destruction in the Bahamas.
Leaving Their Legacy
It takes intrinsic motivation to always do what’s right, which is why it is another one of .decimal’s core values. To dedicate your time to your community and put others first is not commonly found, but something special. We’d like to showcase Henry and Ricky for being committed to excellence and impacting not only .decimal but also the surrounding community. Giving Hope
In the tradition and spirit of the .decimal United program, we spent the fundraising element collecting and donating non-perishable food items for the homeless this holiday season.
For the Paws
As a part of the .decimal United program, the four teams competed in an Animal Shelter Donation Drive to see who collected the most items to be donated. Not only was it a great competition, it also had a greater purpose for the community.
A Work of Art
We’d like to congratulate Logansport Memorial Hospital for opening its brand new cancer center in Logansport, Indiana! Within its medical office building East lobby is a sculpture made with .decimal IMRT compensators. We are honored!

Our employees are multidimensional and multitalented, both at work and at home. Here at .decimal, Jim Selikoff works in software development, but his passion outside of work started at five years old with his first violin lesson. His dream of making a career out of music began when he played saxophone in a soul band in high school.

This week .decimal’s Richard Sweat was invited to participate in the Seminole County Public Schools Leadership Conference and speak on the skill sets required (and admired) by the future employers of Seminole County students.
Rescue Run 2017
Recently, .decimal participated in The Rescue Run Corporate 5k to raise awareness and funds to benefit the Rescue Outreach Mission homeless shelter in Sanford, FL. The 3.1 mile walk/run event was held along the shores of beautiful Lake Monroe and through the streets of downtown Sanford.
