Let’s face it: finding a job you’re loyal to can be hard. We know that. But there’s always been something special about .decimal’s culture that welcomes employees to stay for a long time. That being said, we’d like to congratulate Linda M., Linda H., and Drew for reaching longevity milestones in the first half of 2019!
Congratulations to Linda M. for reaching the 20-year longevity milestone!
Linda grew up in Orange City with four brothers. She met her husband at 16 in high school and attended Seminole Community College with an AS degree in Data Processing. She then worked for a CPA firm in Sanford for 13 years, was married in 1987, and have a son and daughter.
Now, she has been here for 20 years, 3 months, and 10 days (but who’s counting?) and is our beloved Finance Manager. Her favorite part of the job is the people she gets to work with.
“[Reaching the longevity milestone feels] amazing. I’ve had two jobs in 33 years. Thank you to Richard and Karen for giving my family the opportunity to be a part of the .decimal family.”
Thank you for your 20 years of service, Linda! .decimal wouldn’t be the same without you!
Congratulations to Drew for reaching the 10-year longevity milestone!
Drew was born in Missouri and moved to Florida, where he worked with his grandfather operating a tree service. Drew started his career at .decimal in 2009 through an internship program at Deland High School. Within his ten years here, Drew has worked his way up to be the medical floor lead and he is a dedicated machinist. Additionally, he loves cars.
His favorite part of working at .decimal is the access to the mills and the endless possibilities they bring.
“[Earning the 10 year longevity milestone] has been a long time coming. Life is what you make it.”
Thank you Drew for your service! It’s a joy seeing you every day!
Congratulations to Linda H. for earning her first longevity milestone at .decimal, 5 years!
Before .decimal, Linda started in a mailroom, working her way up for 14 years to earn the position of quality and manufacturing representative at Rosemont, Inc. That job gave her the qualifications to become the Quality Manager at .decimal.
Outside of work, Linda has a husband, a giant pup, a wonderful granddaughter, and a new house. She loves crafts and the beach.
“I’m very grateful and appreciate Richard for the opportunity he’s given me. I look forward to continuing to help people and I am excited for the growth coming to .decimal.”
Thank you for your service, Linda! We appreciate all you do!
