A Massive Feat – 400,000th Device Milestone!
On August 7th, 2020, .decimal hit a huge milestone: we manufactured our 400,000th device. Despite the unusual circumstances, .decimal came together to celebrate–with masks on, of course.
Longevity 2020
.decimal will always be thankful for the employees who push our company forward. Even in these trying times, we still wanted to recognize and celebrate this group of employees and their longevity achievements, as well as everything that they’ve done with us during their continued loyalty.
Welcome Our New Chief Customer Officer!
Everyone at .decimal is SO excited to welcome Mary into the position of Chief Customer Officer (CCO)!
While Mary has been an employee at .decimal for almost 15 years, she has recently taken on this new role. Formerly the customer service, marketing, human resources, and sales manager; Mary has always had a passion for serving people– customers and employees alike. She is thrilled to turn her love of service into action by becoming the customer advocate and being there for our customers every step of the way.
This new role gives Mary the opportunity to put the customer as the number one priority and ensure satisfaction from start to finish. There couldn’t be a better fit for Mary at .decimal and we can’t wait to see the amazing work she will do as the new CCO!

Forever Changed
We started off March as businesses as usual — for the most part. The lingering news stories of COVID-19 traveling the world made us furrow our brows as we talked about it in the break room, but we had no idea that by the end of March we would go from working normally to completely modifying how we operated. COVID-19 has changed the world, and with it, .decimal has taken precautions and measures to ensure that cancer patients are still treated with the best possible care amid an unprecedented time.
We’re AS9100 Certified!
In February, we were awarded our AS9100 Certification which opens us up for aerospace work in the contract manufacturing part of the business. Having this certification gives .decimal a lot of new opportunities to explore.
As Committed to Excellence is one of our core values, some of the .decimal team, along with the owners of the company, went to Leadership Seminole’s 2020 Leadership Summit.
FDA Clears 3D Scanning Technology For Cancer Treatment
December 14, 2019, .decimal was 510K cleared to sell their highly-anticipated 3D scanner. This iPad app with a scanning camera allows for a full color, 3D, dimensionally accurate rendering of the patient treatment area, essentially allowing a radiation oncologist to scan the patient and order a custom radiation device built to the shape of the tumor within minutes.

Each year, Veterans Day is a chance for us to reflect on all of those who have served our amazing country, both in the past and in the present. .decimal would like to take this opportunity to spotlight two of our veterans and commend them in their suit to protect and defend us.
To the Rescue
.decimal is located in Florida, which means that we are no stranger to hurricanes. Despite knowing how to prepare and making all the necessary precautions beforehand, there’s no telling what a storm will do to a community. That’s why we sprung into action when we heard about the destruction in the Bahamas.
Getting Results
Summer internships are a great opportunity to get experience and build your skillset. .decimal loves its interns and tries to have a range of them year-long. We wanted to recognize Nikhil, who interned on the product development team for his contribution to .decimal and for making it on Channel 6’s Getting Results segment.

Whether it’s fixing machines, checking the coolant, cleaning up spills, or even something as simple as replacing a lightbulb, our company wouldn’t be able to run without our maintenance team, and we’d like to thank them for their hard work!

Pursuing higher-level education is something that we are proud to recognize here at .decimal. It truly displays one of our core values: Committed to Excellence. For some people, college helps them decide where they want to go in life. But, for Shelby, she decided on her college path through working here.
Trade Show Madness
.decimal has always participated in trade shows. We love the atmosphere, the opportunity to meet new people, and to see what’s going on in the industry. June held some of the biggest of the year and the months of preparing definitely paid off.
Longevity 2019 Part 1
Let’s face it: finding a job you’re loyal to can be hard. We know that. But there’s always been something special about .decimal’s culture that welcomes employees to stay for a long time. That being said, we’d like to congratulate Linda M., Linda H., and Drew for reaching longevity milestones in the first half of 2019!
We Escaped!
Sadly, Leg 4 of .decimal United is planned to be the last of the team building program. However, we have never had more motivation to make it the best one yet! To start off with a bang, .decimal headed to Locksmith Escape Games to tackle another escape room, and let me tell you, it was not a stroll in the woods!
Leaving Their Legacy
It takes intrinsic motivation to always do what’s right, which is why it is another one of .decimal’s core values. To dedicate your time to your community and put others first is not commonly found, but something special. We’d like to showcase Henry and Ricky for being committed to excellence and impacting not only .decimal but also the surrounding community. Congratulations to the both of you for graduating from Leadership Seminole!

.decimal United End of Leg 3
Leg 3 of the .decimal United Race concluded at the end of March with a company picnic. The fun-filled day including volleyball, wiffleball, BBQ, and cake, all to celebrate the hard work and bonding that happened over the course of the quarter.

In support of International Women’s Day, we thought we would get together and show our “girl power”. While manufacturing is a predominately male sector, it is great to know that, as women, we are able to contribute to the success of our great company!
